I live in Calgary, Alberta, and I've played in Europe, Japan, and all over North America. Most of my clients for casual entertainment are in the Southern Alberta/Southeastern BC area.

Pricing detail
For one hour or less, I play for just a bit above the scales set by the Calgary Musicians Association (currently scale is $135 Canadian, and I charge $150 Canadian). After the first hour, the rate is $50 per hour, or $25 per 1/2 hour. If I have to travel, it costs more.
