My name is Jesse Elder, and I am a pianist, composer and leader of my own quintet. The ensemble is based in New York City. We feature a wide variety of original and standard material.

I graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy with a "Fine Arts Award in Jazz Performance", and I was a winner in the national 2003 "ASCAP Young Jazz Composer's Competition". I have also performed in Town Hall, NYC, with jazz vocalist Rene Marie. My ensemble features some of the most outstanding young musicians in the world, including Matthew Brewer, bassist in the "Grammy Band" and with the famous "Greg Osby Quartet", Ambrose Akenmusire, trumpet player in the "Grammy Band" for two consecutive years, Collin Killalea on Saxophones, and Robbie Sinclair on drums.
