La Folia Chamber Ensemble is a classical music group, but they're also something of an original in classical music circles.

First off, the trio is made up of flute, violin and guitar - not your standard mix of instruments. By using a guitar instead of a cello, for instance, the sound produced is unique. Their music also goes beyond what you'd normally expect from a classical trio: while they're quite comfortable playing an evening of Baroque masters, they've expanded the concept of chamber music to include many genres, such as: songs from famous movie scores, jazz standards, contemporary popular music, and international styles.
