The Rittenhouse String Quartet and Ensembles is Philadelphia's premiere chamber ensemble. The group consists of a core of professional performers, all belonging to the American Federation of Musicians. The Ensembles' reputation is based on over 15 years of quality performances. Members of the ensemble serve as principal players in various chamber orchestras throughout the region, such as the Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Pro Musica and the West Jersey Chamber Symphony. Because of their extensive performing in all musical venues, the Rittenhouse String Quartet and Ensembles prides itself in bringing quality musicianship to all settings, from chamber recitals to orchestral concerts. Ensembles of all combinations are also available for private functions.
