The Band performs with as few as four musicians (generally sax, drums, bass & Thompson on guitar plus a vocalist) up to a 12-piece orchestra. Typically, the size of the band is five musicians plus at least one vocalist (up to two or three vocalists depending upon the occasion and the budget). The Terry Thompson Dance & Party Band's broad and diverse repertoire enable the Band to play for a wide range of audiences and age groups. Thompson's extensive experience in the music business enables him to "get the pulse" of the audience and gear the music in the right direction -- getting the guests off their feet and dancing -- but modulating the volume so that polite conversations are allowed, too!
