If your event is unique, then the band should be too! Rather than the usual setlist, your will hear us do Fats Waller to Professor Longhair, to Nat KIng Cole to Ray Charles. The Poker Club's founder, George Kilby Jr. leads the band with the dynamic Lily White on vocals and saxophones. The inspiration for the band comes from the late Howie Wyeth, who worked with Bob Dylan and became a celebrated performer of the "stride" piano style. The music is a mix of lots of great Americana - from the standards from the 30's to swing and blues, and often a touch of funky New Orleans.
